Made from round cuts of wood and inscribed with sacred lines and sprinkled in sacrificial blood making it a curse for someone to try to forge them. Those caught trying to forge the coins have all limbs severed and are left in the snow until they die. Before the Forging of Tribes the Icthians used a simple bartering system. The Icthians also used cylindrical bars of bronze, copper, and iron with loops at the end to be tied to leather chords. The bars were often used in the forging of weapons and armor but also retained a value for trade. Three bronze bars could buy a week's worth of bear meat. An bronze bar was paid for one common white wolf pelt.

It bore a soldier on the front representing his men and on the back the symbol of his army, the twin tailed fox. This was the first time the leader of an army had minted coins for his men. This won him great support and loyalty of his men and was one of the charges brought against him at his trial. The coins were very sought after and most of the soldiers refused to spend them. Years following the death of Alfius the Queen of Andor minted thousands of the coin in honor of the hero. Originally the solder was minted in bronze and later under the Andori minting they were done in copper and silver but not bronze to honor Alfius and the original coins.

Stilik- Coins minted by Bastion Are Stilicho in his campaigns against the Dagashi. He took note of the impact of Alfius' coins and meant to do the same. The front bore the letter S with the goddess Oksana crowned on a throne attended by wolves on the obverse. These were minted in Bronze and silver. Stilicho paid his soldiers in bronze and his officers in silver. He made arrangements with the Queen in Cairn to accept his coinage in return for his services in the south against the enemies of Cairn. The coins also began to circulate in Cassad due to the presence of the Cassan soldiers he employed.
