Festival held in Tier every year on the 24th day of the season of summer. It celebrated the rebirth of the earth as well as youth and life.

During the festival wine was served throughout the day, and virgin girls called poppies, spun ribbon around tall poles called olum, representing fertility.

A dance occurred at night. All could attend.

Usually a string of births is recorded the following year. Many of them can be traced back to the night of the festival.
