Here is a summary of the entire history of the universe and the worlds of Taoch and Uthrac.

The Beginning of War
The universe began as an endless expanse of nothingness. A shadow realm of space came into existence because of the existence of the first realm. The two realms existed alongside each other. Tides created by the two’s existence pulled at the realms. The enormity of the pulling created vast waves of energy that began to flow throughout the universe. Sometimes the waves would collide, creating enormous releases of energy. This new force was chaos energy. For eons the universe existed in a state of fiery cataclysm.
It was during this time that the elements were formed. Debris formed from the explosions would eventually come together to form dead, rocky worlds, as well as the various floating celestial bodies in space.
Within the shadow realm it was not chaos energy that flowed here, created from the enormous tides, but rather a different type of energy called spirit energy. It was the shadow form of chaos. These spirit energies flowed together forming the spiritstream.
It is not known when, or how long it took, but at some point the stream formed a consciousness that grew into a being of unfathomable power, drawing its strength from the stream it self. When the being became self aware, it gave it self a name. It called it self Cha.
Cha dwelt in the shadow realm for thousands of years, eventually traveling out of the shadow realm into the chaotic universe. Even though he was outside of the shadowrealm, Cha was still connected to it, able to draw power from the seemingly endless well of the spiritstream. Cha noted the more chaotic nature of the universe, but here the chaos energy had created building blocks that Cha would use to create companions for his self.
Cha drew power from the spiritstream creating the most powerful of creatures, the Elementals. The Elementals, servants of Cha, expressed little intelligence. They functioned like machines, doing as their master bid them. The Elementals were responsible for the creation of materials (Metals, Water, Stone, Gases, etc.) that could be used by Cha in his creations.
Some of Cha’s first attempts at planting a world failed due to the enormity of chaos energies scouring the universe. As a result, Cha bound much of the chaos energy in a cell he fashioned from spirit energy (See Chaos Cell). This would later prove to be the undoing of the races.
Cha still sought for better companionship, as the Elementals were most concerned with creation of more of their elements. His second attempt at a created being resulted in the creation of the Aedelons. The Aedelons still acted as servants to Cha, but these had more intelligence and actually felt gratification in their service to the creator. The Aedelons had the ability to move between the universe and the shadow realm. The Aedelons began to cluster in the shadow realm so that they could be closer to the spriritstream. Cha allowed the Aedelons to remain there and act as guardians of the spiritstream. Their full numbers are known only to Cha. Following Cha’s corruption, the Aedelons considered the protection of the spiritstream their only duty.
Cha’s final creation consisted of the Aten and the Charu. Three Aten were initially created, powerful beings he filled with his own essence, Nimu, Zin, and Wircroix. Later he would create two lower classes of Aten, the Terra Aten, and the Joradrim Aten. The two lower classes did not contain any of his essence, and were ruled over by the first three, or the Dyne Aten. Their intelligence mirrored that of their creator.
Cha found a large planet and a moon to populate with the first races. The planet he called Uthrac and the moon he called Taoch. He commanded the Aten to create the natural world of Uthrac, seeding them with trees, bushes, and all manner of plant life. A new force, World magic, was created by the growth of the natural world. Cha created the Charu in his image on Taoch.
Cha commanded the Dyne to be the authors of all future races. The lesser Aten he charged with the filling of the natural world with animals and plantlife.
On the nearby world of Uthrac, the first of the intelligent races created by the Dyne were the Eldrin. Following the Eldrin were the Humans, Coi, Casi, Jagar, Gib, and Ava'Noh. Other races would follow. After all creation had ceased, the Aten created their last race, the Unnati, who would act as their servants.
Life consists of spirit energy, and all life in turn contains a spirit. Life is made possible by the sharing of the parents’ spirit during reproduction. As living organisms died in the past, their spirits began to create a new spiritstream in the physical realm. Although much smaller, and in no way as endless a volume as the shadow realm spiritstream, it continues to grow in power as more and more living organisms die. The memories and emotions of the departed remain with their spirit as it joins the new spiritstream.
On Taoch the Charu existed in a peaceful communal society. They vigorously pursued the sciences and their religion was the worship of Cha and their ancestors. By the time the Dibok Star crashed into their world, the Charu had successfully reached a pinnacle of technological advancement.
