Time in Uthrac is measured by Eos, every thousand years there is a new eos, named first, second, third fourth, etc.:

A year for the people of Uthrac is broken up into four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter, each lasting 100 days.

A full date would be written: 15 . summer . 750 IIIE. or spring can be s summer can be ss fall is f and winter is w.

Eos Meor ("before the time" in the Eld or Eldrin language)-

 

-Universe reels from the past destruction of life. Chaos energy runs rampant, rending worlds and galaxies. Within the universe the spiritstream still flows, carrying with it all the life energy of all time since it formed.

-Cha becomes aware of himself, formed out of the spirit stream, the source of spirit magic and all life.

-Cha makes the world of Uthrac and it's moon Taoch suitable for life.

-With the creation of life comes blood magic.

-With the creation of nature comes world magic.

-Cha creates the Charu, an avian race.

-Nimu, Wircroix, and Zin, are the second creation of Cha. This new being is called the Aten. They are filled with Cha's essence and given the duty of creating the races on the world of Uthrac.

-Lesser Aten are made by Cha. He creates the Terra Aten and the Joradrim Aten.

-The Terra Aten create all animal life on Uthrac.

-The Joradrim create all manner of plantlife.

First Eos-

 

-The Eldrin race was created, later called the Elder Race or Eld by humans. They are similar in make-up to humans but live longer lives and are in-tune to the natural world that surrounds them.

-It was during this time that Vashnu, one of the Aten wanting to abide within the world the Aten had created left the great citadel of the Aten and began dwelling among the High Master's creation, takes one of the Eld High Daughters to be his bride.

-Following a period of five hundred years humans were made by Zin.

 

Races created by the Aten:

 

Nimu: Eldrin, Coi, Jagar, Unnati

Zin: Human, Jagar, Casi, Gib

Wircroix: Ava'Noh

 

500 years after creation...

-Charu apply sunstones to their new technology.

-Charu spirit walkers physically enter the spirit realm or spirit stream.

-Kelshek becomes aware of himself. Born from the chaos energy streaming accross the universe, he is the antecedent of Cha, who immediately sets out to destroy the creations of Cha.

-Kelshek forms the Dibok race, a three eyed reptilian beast created for war.

-The Dibok star, a meteor housing thousands of the beasts falls to Taoch.

-The war between the Charu and the Dibok begins.

-At first the Charu's advanced technology helps them win major victories.

-The Dibok capture Charu technology and begin wiping out whole villages.

-The Charu discover the star weapon. When a beam of energy fired out of a star cannon is aimed into a sunstone, the result is a tremendous release of energy. The Charu capital city is destroyed this way.

-The Dibok advance is determined to be too much for the Charu.

-Charu spirit walkers find a way to travel to Uthrac via a spirit well.

 

 

 

Second Eos-

 

-Cities were created by men as they did their best to stay together rather than disperse into tribes like the Eld.

-Tyrga and later Karana was founded.

-Tyrga was splendorous, with white stone buildings and tall towers.

-Karana was built of mostly wood.

-Over time the people of Tyrga elected a king to guide them into their future and unite the cities and villages.

-Mankind was very skillful in the use of magic as they were guided by the Eld.

-Karana resisted any involvement in this new vision and it eventually escalated into a war.

-The Eld aided man in his growth in the beginning, but over the course of a hundred years mankind began to engage in battles and later wars against one another.

-The Eld formed a city for the eldest of their race to guide the leaders of the various tribes, this was Sylva.

-The Eld held a council and made a pact that they would not help man in their wars but would only guide them towards peace with themselves.

-A group of Eld went against this pact and were banished by the Eld. These were forced to sail east into the Farland. This was the split between the Eld they often refer to. Vashnu and his bride leave with them.

-Some humans sailed east after the Eld, but never found them, and settled in the north founding the dynasty of Kings in Andor.

-Wexler, Mezghul, and Devaron in a disagreement against Nimu and Zin attack the Sky Hall to overthrow them and are defeated and cast down into Dragon Mountain, twisted and scarred from their battle. These begin to prey upon man.

Devaron, the strongest, leaves west to Tara to destroy the races.

-Vasha, the daughter of Vashnu and his Eld bride inherits great power from her father, and beauty beyond the grasp of mortals. It was she who begins corrupting men, eld, and all manner of creatures created by the Aten. It was this corruption that gave life to the Kryl, Giin, and other dark spawn. Vashnu and his bride leave the banished Eld and abide in the forests in peace.

-It was their hatred of the light races that forced the eld to drive these creatures from the forests and hills into the mountains.

-Wandering in the Far Land, Vasha discovered Wexler, formidable in his hatred against the races and all things good Wexler became enthralled with Vasha, doing all that she bid him. In their mountain home she became known as the Mother, or Great Mother, and Wexler was her greatest servant.

-The Mother's black eyes were capable of seeing through the eyes of all of her creation.

-Mezghoul, watched the movements of man, Eld, Aten, and especially those of his dark brothers Wexler and Devaron, and schemed about one day bringing about the downfall of Uthrac.

-Devaron using blood magic wrecked havoc upon the Tara, slaughtering men and eld while the Aten stood by and sought answers amongst themselves on how to deal with the corrupt of their race.

-Meanwhile a plague swept over Tara. Devaron had mingled his blood with man and turned his victims mad with desire for the pure blood of their race seeking nothing more than to feed upon it. To be bitten by those touched with the disease only served to spread the plague. For an Eld to be bitten meant death, as their race's blood would not take the virus.

-Darkness spread over the continent and a great exodus occurred as the races sailed into the east. The Eld race was again divided by those who chose to stay and those who chose to leave.

-It is this period in which one group of men and women sails west and founds Cassad.

-Those who stayed meant to combat the abominations that had destroyed their lands.

-These Eld use all their magic and cunning to hold back the forward progress of the disease and the Dark Lord Devaron, with skin of night.

-Nimu listens to Serek and Coelcoeth and decides to banish Devaron from their ranks forever for his evil and he is exiled to the dark lands he had created never being allowed to leave.

-Vashnu and his wife give birth to Vashna, as beautiful and powerful as his sister Vasha.

-When Vashnu's wife dies by the hand of Mezghul he goes into exile, this is the source of the legend of sylvara and her husband.

 

Third Eos-

 

770 IIIE.

-The line of Queens is established after years of war amongst the lords of Andar in their quest for power aided by the noble race of Jagar created by Zin.

-Men settle on the Storm Isles forming Shinarendretta, Bria and Fehrys.

-Many men settle in Camaan on the vast hill country and plains discovering the horse.

-Settlers from Andor fleeing the wars carve a fishing settlement called Tier far south of Andar and Camaan on the coast of an unknown land. These settlers live peacefully for a time.

-Pirates form a small settlement on the Storm Isles called Stonehall and attack various ports around the Great Sea.

-One pirate, Strongback often resupplied at Tier in flights from pursuing authorities from Shinarendretta.

-Leones, one of Strongback's captains on one trip to Tier finds it being attacked by Kryll and lends his assistance in repelling the beasts.

-For a time he reinforces the city, being a sound tactician. He and his men help build a small eightfoot wall around the settlement and in the time spent there many of the men marry many of the local daughters. Leones is given the title Protector of Tier and given a silver comb depicting a lion.

-Leones decides with his crew to stay in Tier.

-Strongback coming to see what had become of his men attacks Tier and kills Leones and his supporters who do not wish to leave Strongback's ranks.

-Leones dies but his wife's child Maeor survives.

-She takes him north to Camaan to live with one of the barons, working as a servant in his kitchens.

-She becomes ill and dies when Maeor is in his tenth year.

-The Baron adopts Maeor as his own and trains him in the use of the horse.

-Upon Maeor's twentieth year men from Tier come into Cairn requesting aid against Kryllian war bands and pirates.

-Lord Reubert, allows Maeor to take men south to aid his homeland.

-Maeor arrives in Tier, a village with a population of a few hundred. He and his men reinforce and repair the original eight foot wall his father had built, him not knowing his father other than that he had been a sailor in the Shinarendrettan Navy who brought pirates to justice and was finally killed one day by the feared pirate Strongback, long since supposed dead.

-It was after the first engagement with the Kryll that the lion pendant was discovered upon Maeor and the history of his family was revealed to him. The people of the small city began calling him the Protector of Tier.

-Maeor revamped Tier's defenses and began the contruction of a stronger higher outer wall.

-A school for the instruction of combat was began by Maeor.

-Maeor marries and has a son Leones and sends him and his son's friend Atla who he sends to Reubert to sponsor in the military academy at Andor.

-The boys return to Tier with an entera\uge of friends upon their graduation early due to approaching war with Shinarendretta and Andor, a mage named Dartar, or Dart for short, and a Temple Knight named Cerfe, and one of the Eld named Gaff.

-Maeor much older than when Leones left informs him of the continuing wars with the Kryll and the recent election of a king by the Lords of Tier.

-King Kardan II, was the first king of Tier and his focus was to destroy the Kryll. He was the second because his father Kardan I was just a warlord, the strongest amongst the Lords of the plains of Nos where Tier lay.

-A silver mine is discovered north of Tier and King Kardan II uses its wealth to strengthen Tier's defenses.

-Maeor had been busy and as Protector had some of Tier's best fighters in a small close gnit group called the Tieran Protectorate. Their focus was to keep the peace within the city but regularly engaged in battles with the Kryll.

-Under Maeor's guidance the army of Tier had began to incorporate professional soldiers modelled on the SHinarendrettan renovations to their own army.

-Tier had a cavalry and a strong army of three hundred. The city now boasted a population of a little over a thousand and the outside wall was half built now standing ten feet high in most parts. The people of the city under guidance by their new king bought two small warships from Shinarendretta for defense against the Kryllian pirates.

-Day and night the Academy graduates were questioned about what all they had learned in Andor. The boys even gave instruction to the military captains.

-Cerfe and Leones do their best to persuade the king to purchase new armor for the army.

-A large host of Kryll approach Tier from the south and are set upon an attack. Tier's twin ships Hammerbreak and the King's Might sink three war vessels before the King's Might is set ablaze by the Kryll. Hammerbreak successfully repels the naval assault, attacking the Krillian ships far south around a curve of land called Drexel's Point, named by the crew in honor of their captain.

-Maeor, Leones, Cerfe, and Dart engage against the Kryll and see for themselves the Giim that Maeor had told them about, giant humanoid beasts.

-Maeor falls in battle under one of the Giim who Cerfe and Leones kill.

-The Kryll are repelled on their return and the news of Maeor's death the city grieves. Leones is first called the protector of Tier by the King.

-Leones tries to get his friends to go back to their homes but they choose to stay with him and Attla.

-It was around the time of Alfius Loggin's attacks against Andor and his execution by the Shinarendrettan politicians that Kardan II died and his son Fineus adopted the throne as Kardan III.

-Under Kardan III Tier's forces and defenses are strengthened. The city is made as beautiful as possible by the king and trade and immigration from war-racked Andor bolster Tier into an enormous city of wealth. The streets are all paved and the docks are rebuilt to make way for the influx of traffic. Timber from Tier's forests is sought in Shinar where most of their forests had been cut down for their fanatical ship building. Under Atla and Cerfe's guidance the military of Tier had doubled in size with professional soldiers. A temple to Zin had been part of Kardan III's building projects as well as a mage tower. Cerfe and his cohort of knights added the strength of the gods to Tier's forces with their spirit magic. The teachings of Mordis taught by the disciples of Mordis had begun to be taught in the temple, though the use of blood magic, even for healing disturbed many. The Eld Gaff remained in Tier until the death's of his friends in the continuing wars against the forces of the Matron Mother, ever growing in number and strength. The Giim were just the beginnings of the Matron's twisted creations. Over the years the people of Tier saw Kryll, Giim, Ruks or ramheaded beasts, Woren or Dogmen, and the now prevailent dark spawn or Dagashi, or name given to the reptilian horned black scaled beasts that came in numerous sizes and shapes, called Riksh in their dark tongue. Tier's great white walls had been completed adorned with three enormous gates, the South, East, and splendorous North, a gift from Queen Andara in Andor. General Kael, the son of Atla led several incursions into the black forests of Morgrash, eventually fighting all the way to the Dragon Mountains defeating the host of the Matron Mother driving them into the Mountains out of their reach.

-Fort Kael was built at this time along with several other forts along a new highway system called simply the Cobblestone.

-Wor was General Kael's second in command.

-Talks with Shinarendretta begin the framework of an alliance with the people of Shinar.

-King Kardan III brings tier to its golden age.

-It is under his reign that Ghallish has his vision of approching evil

-King Kardan builds several large fortifications along his borders and roads

-The spawn of dragon mountain begins renewed attacks just before Kardan III's demise.

-His son Kardan IV is the one who Kael rebels against immediately following his father's death.

-Wor becomes general for a brief period and steps down to run a tavern.

-Amos becomes General and restructures the Tieran military forces, making it into several different branches: infantry, cavalry, navy, and an elite branch of rangers.

-Over the next years minor scuffles with the new city of Kael escalate in severity with a lack of incursions by the Matron's spawn.

-Tier is allowed entrance to the east through a temporary treaty granted to Tier through word of mouth by General Kael, The Tierans cannot officially accept through retribution by the king and so it is an unspoken pact.

-Kael's military expands becoming a socialistic society.

 

99 . W . 999 IIIE.

-In his elder years before his death Kardan IV has Kael assassinated sparking an all out siege against Tier reducing it to rubble.

-His son Prince Tornoah flees with many of the barons (Donovan/Rotiart's alt Tarl) to Shinar on the ships brought to celebrate the festival of roses and pact between tier and shinarendretta.

-Tier becomes settled by Kael's warlords.

-Tornoah and the Barons are granted an area outside of Los to live, called New Tier by the denizens.

-Tornoah starts the Council of Lords to run Tieran affairs where he no longer has absolute power.

-Stilicho's son, Bastion Are Stilicho, is raised by Pikus who controls a large army.

-Stilicho is elected to Council

-Stilicho takes his own small army to Hill Darrow south of Cairn to fight the Dagashi and blood his troops. This is where the story of Mel and Old Bear takes place.

-Stilicho made his army strong in that he could wage any type of war he had to. He had two warships and several merchant ships he used to provide himself with continued wealth.

-Stilicho kills Pikus so as to take control of his army.

-Stilicho and several other barons begin putting pressure on Tornoah to retake Tier from Kael.

-Tornoah pressured on all sides from the barons meets with the shinarendrettan assembly(Chamber) at their Great Hall and is granted the right to return to his homeland.

-Tornoah sends ambassadors to the assembly to gain Shinarendrettan support in the attack against Kael through its navy.

-Rem, Fletch, Traum, Tekdeus,Riobe(check spelling for LOTR otherwise Riob) all wait in the Wilds of Lisen, helped by Sirix and his Eld scouts to push their own agenda and return balance to the land with a free tier and free kael.

-Gersh has control of a powerful relic, he seeks to bring the world under his boot, sacrificing villages to his ravages.

-Shinarendretta finally agrees to aid the Tieran people in their quest to regain Tier.

-The Queen of Andar is brought west by Mel and his enterauge.

-Queen Andar informs the Guard Captain of Gersh's plan??? Or she is exiled???

-Stilicho's plan is to move in as quickly as possible and overrun Tier to give him more power. His army is the largest of the Barons'.

-Kael learns of the approaching war and begins supplying Tier and Kael for the outbreak of war.

-Kael's borders are claimed east to Dragon Mountain all the way North to the Hill Darrow.

-Under Kael's unity the horde has been pushed back deep into their strongholds with rumors of the Matron's death (The Mother Matron had made herself pregnant to ensure her immortality it is immediately following the child's birth that the matron is killed).

-Cassad remains neutral through all of this save that Stilicho has a detachement of their soldiers due to his aiding of them against the Dagashi in their lands. The Cassans were well-known for their use of crossbow.

-Gersh plans on using his weapon during the approaching war to destroy the two large armies coming together.

-Rem and his cohort know of Gersh and the war and their main part will be defeating Gersh and aiding Tier so long as Tier does not try to push into old Kael proper.

-Stilicho has half of his army in the east already and makes sure everyone knows it. He leaves with Donovan, an aged war hero from the previous war to protect his armies on the mainland as well as to prepare a camp for those arriving.

-Stilicho sends a squadron of his own cavalry south into Kael to get details of the area and what they would face upon entering. Kael erected a large fort between the passes from the west ambros which they would have to destroy first.

-Kael sends emissaries to Stilicho and Donovan to discuss their intentions.

-The emissaries make it clear that all lands south of the Darrow belong to Kael. To which Stilicho replies, "We shall see who's land Tier belongs to."

-The following night Stilicho uses Karanan Night Swords to infiltrate and burn the Kaelean fort in the pass. The following day Stilicho rides to Stonehouse with twelve of the Cassan horse bows, the new name for Tier to deliver the city to him to halt the oncoming war. They decline and reinforce the fort. On his way in Sirix and his rangers had spotted him and this struck them with wonder.

-Prince Tornoah arrives with the barons and half of the Tieran Forces aboard heavy Krillian ships.

-Stilicho along with 25o of his horse ride out to escort them to his base camp. In their absence Stilicho had built a fort next to the sea and trail forts all the way to his main fortification two leagues(spans?) north of the northern kael fort each with fifty soldiers stationed there.

-He told everything that had transpired to Tornoah leaving out the Karanan Night Swords.

-The following weeks the remainder of Tier's forces reach the mainland.

-Kael's northern fort had since been rebuilt and the barons expected a fight outside the fort where the mountainsides made the valley into a funnel.

-The south entrance through the desert was proposed by some.

-Stilicho reminded most of the men there that they knew the perils of the desert more than he did. Giant sand worms threatened to swallow up entire armies.

-The pass would be battled for, hopefully softening the Kaelian war machine.

-The front lines of the battle were considered a place of honor and so were not asked for but asked by Tornoah. Donovan is the general over the tieran forces.

-Stilicho's ranks are given the honor of the Hammer, or first blow.

-The Kaelian war machine is famed for its discipline and Stilicho understands the weight of being the "first dagger".

-The battle of the walls occurs a week following the arrival of the barons.

-Stilicho's men are so armored that the Kael spearshafts break against their iron wall.

-The Kaelian forces are destroyed by the impact of Tier's push.

-Tier pushes through to the old city. In the plains south of Tier Kael brings its mightiest force to destroy the invaders.

-The fight begins and from the onset the Tierans almost rival the famed Kaelan war machine. However after several hours the Kaelan generals begin to push into Tier's ranks. Stilicho and his cavalry do their best to push them back but the line breaks in too many places at once. It was here when the hope of victory seemed lost that the Kith under Rem attack Kael's forces from behind. The sight of their hero fighting against them brings despair to many of the kaelans. Garak leads his men against the Kith who destroy many of their number. Though Garak is able to get to Rem and deal him a deadly blow.

-Gersh is watching the entire battle from a hill on the plains, preparing to harness the chaos energy flowing above the world, remnants of the battle between Cha and Kelshek. Gersh begins to pummel both armies with chaos lightning.

-It is here that Tlik appears and the ancient kith destroys gersh.

-Rem's small army is defeated, Fletch, Traum, and Tiggy and several others.

-The Kaelan and Tieran armies are both stunned but both remarshal themselves and renew the attack.

-Tieran resolve was such that they were able to push the Kaelans back. Stilicho pursued them to the river ernin before withdrawing back to the battlefield.

-Tlik informed Gothin that Gersh had caused something to happen by summoning the chaos energy. And to be prepared to deal with the matter. Tlik then went back to the sky citadel with the Aten.

-Stilicho began preparing to assault the city when a thick fog fell over the entire city. Screams could be heard over the walls and when they finally stopped the gates of the city opened. All that were left in the city were women and children. These said the mist killed the men. Rem had called upon Fhog, one of the strong kith killed in the battle for Tier. The kith had somehow been able to resist entering the spirit realm and existed as an ether. Rem was nearly killed by Fhog when he asked him to aid his plan. Fhog now calling himself Fog agreed. This was the beginning of his journey back from his shadowy existence.

-When the fog finally lifted Gothin thought he saw the figure of one of his ancient friends but the figure gave him a look and then vanished.
