General Kael's top captain, Traven was notorious for his craftiness and ferosity. He had been often called, "a devil in human skin,".

He was known as the most wealthy of all the Kaelans.

He waged war against Tier and his forces annhialated the Tieran Resistance.

He was close friends with Lord Rem, though the two split up following the Fall of Tier and the restructucturing of Kaelian Society.

He moved to Cairn where he became a fisherman.

Before his death he supplied Sirix with maps and plans of Stonehouse and Kael and it's surroundings to aid them in recapturing Tier.

He spoke to Rem only once following his relocation. This was after the death of Tiggy.

Smee was his closest friend and confidant.
